Eastern Metal Supply, a nationwide value-added service distributor of aluminum extrusions and sheet products, is expanding with a new facility in Hammond, La. The new location is slated to open its doors in early June, providing improved service just in time for the hurricane season.
The new 80,000-square-foot facility, located at 42548 Happywoods Road, will provide customers with fast access to the Eastern Metal Supply line of hurricane-protection products. Now, customers and companies in Louisiana can enjoy efficient, rapid delivery, giving them immediate access to top-of-the-line storm protection and other extruded products. This means homes in the area can be fortified faster than ever before with quicker turn-around times for contractors, Eastern executives claim.
The new site will serve as a wholesale shutter manufacturing facility, specializing in roll downs and accordions for outfitting homes and businesses with hurricane protection. Controlling all the processes from manufacturing to delivery ensures Eastern Metal Supply's customers will receive the best products and services. Tested and approved hurricane protection products manufactured at the Hammond location will be built with Eastern Metal Supply's industry-leading quality components to provide homeowners and contractors with superior products that deliver when it counts.
Eastern Metal Supply, headquartered in Lake Worth, Fla., was North America’s 29th largest service center company in the 2020 MCN Top 50, with 2019 revenues of $446.7 million.
