Larivey Named Worthington FR Processing President

Nov 8, 2024Worthington Steel Inc., has named Cliff Larivey the president of flat-roll steel processing. He had been serving as Worthington’s senior vice president of commercial and purchasing.
Jeff Klingler, executive vice president and COO, had been performing the role since Dec. 1, 2023. The new structure will allow Klingler to focus on the company’s global business operations and executing its growth and optimization strategy, the company claimed.
“During his tenure, Cliff has been instrumental in building and maintaining strong customer and supplier partnerships, including successfully navigating supply chain challenges during the pandemic, to deliver world-class customer service. He’s also played an integral role in developing our buying intelligence and price risk capabilities,” said Worthington Steel President and CEO Geoff Gilmore. “I have every confidence that through Cliff’s leadership, we will grow our flat-roll processing business and deliver on our strategic vision.
Under Larivey’s leadership of flat-roll steel processing, Marc Gase, vice president of price risk and supply chain; Doug Kovach, vice president of sales and marketing; and Jason Miller, vice president of purchasing; will continue to oversee the commercial organization. Brad Kern, vice president of operations, will continue to head up operations. With their combined tenure, they bring more than 100 years of expertise to the company.
