Bradley Lazard has become the president of Coil Processing, the product group of Bayou Processing & Storage and BDM Coil Coaters. Both of the companies are part of the North Shore Steel group of businesses.
BPS is an ISO-certified provider of material handling, storage and slitting services for hot-rolled, cold-rolled and coated coil products. BDM is a provider of in-line paint and slitting of hot-rolled coil for the metal building purlin industry. Both businesses are in Houston and offer direct barge, rail and truck access.
Over the past 11 years, Lazard held both operational and strategic positions at the North Shore Steel group of businesses, including general manager of the Structural Steel division and most recently executive vice president and COO. He has significant experience with the company's coil processing businesses and his drive and ambition to enhance and grow our already successful companies is inspiring and will position us well for the future, said Byron Cooper, president and CEO of North Shore Steel.
In addition, several other leadership changes within the Coil Processing product group were announced. Fernando Villarreal is the new director of business development, Jason Lucas is the director of operations execution and Edgar Escamilla is the new director of operations planning.
"We remain steadfast in our dedication to our vendors, customers and other business partners. With this new leadership structure we are excited about the future of our Coil Processing product group," Cooper said.
