Leeco Steel Appoints New CFO

Leeco Steel, Lisle, Ill., has appointed Lisa Liarakos as its chief financial officer and member of the executive management team. She is replacing Mark Krzmarzick, who will retire at the end of the year.
Liarakos, a CPA, has 18 years of finance and accounting experience, most recently serving as vice president of fianance at a large aviation services and parts provider. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy, both from the University of Wisconsin.
“Lisa’s extensive financial experience and innovative, strategic approaches will be a great asset to Leeco Steel,” said Denton Nordhues, President & CEO of Leeco Steel. “We look forward to seeing how Lisa’s leadership will help Leeco grow and further improve profitability in the coming years.”
Krzmarzick joined Leeco as CFO in 1999 and played a vital role in improving the company’s profitability in his two deaces with the company, Nordhues said.
“Mark joined Leeco Steel at a time when the company was in desperate need for strong financial leadership,” said Nordhues. “His knowledge and guidance laid the groundwork for the company’s growth and prosperity. We at Leeco will greatly miss his leadership, drive and vision, but wish him all the best in his retirement.”
