O’Neal Steel Launches PRONTO App

O’Neal Steel, Birmingham, Ala., has launched its interactive PRONTO app. The app serves as a mobile extension of the company’s e-commerce platform, PRONTO, providing the fastest  and most accurate online ordering in the metals industry, the company claims.

Through the app, users have complete access to O’Neal Steel’s available inventory and all customer documents on-the-go,  via their iOS or Android device.  

“Through the launch of our comprehensive PRONTO app, we will continue providing an easy, seamless, and positive buying experience for our customers on additional platforms,” said Alfred Goings, senior manager of digital commerce. “We know using the app will help make our customers’ jobs easier with immediate access to our inventory and other  important documents anytime, anywhere.” 

With the PRONTO app users can:  browse and place orders from the company’s live inventory 24/7; retrieve documents, including invoices, delivery tickets, MTRs and quote/order history; see volume purchase discounts in real time; find materials by searching for specific products or part numbers; speak with a sales team member through live chat; sign up for delivery notification; and apply for credit.

The mobile app is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
