Priefert Manufacturing Joins NASA

The North American Steel Alliance has added Priefert Manufacturing as the newest member-owner company of the metals purchasing cooperative.
Founded in 1964, Priefert has grown into one of the largest farm, ranch and rodeo equipment manufacturers in the world. In 2008, the company expanded into distribution with the creation of Priefert Steel Sales, which operates steel processing centers in Benton, Ark., and Fort Worth, Texas.
“Priefert is very excited to join an amazing group of family-owned businesses as a member of the North American Steel Alliance. We look forward to growing together and being a very active member of the co-op,” said Chris Shipp, VP of supply chain for Priefert Manufacturing Co.
Priefert Steel operates five slitting lines, six leveling and cut-to-length lines, providing a range of blanked and cut-to-length sheets. It also operates three flats-strip machines allowing the company to level and edge condition strip for flat stock.
