Reliance Acquires Fab Company

Aug 1, 2018 Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., Los Angeles, has acquired KMS Fab LLC and KMS South Inc. The KMS companies specialize in precision sheet metal fabrication, ranging from prototypes to large production runs using a variety of metals and processes, including laser cutting, stamping, turret punching, machining, powder coating and welding.
KMS Fab was founded in Luzerne, Pa., in 1954, and KMS South launched in 1987 in West Columbia, S.C. The two companies net sales totaled $23.3 million in 2017.
