By on

ANDRITZ Herr-Voss Stamco Inc. has commissioned a cut-to-length line at Rolled Alloys’ facility in Fairfield, Ohio. The line processes 0.125-inch by 48-inch wide stainless steel nickel alloys, with an incoming coil capacity of 20,000 pounds.

Engineered and manufactured at Herr-Voss facilities in Pennsylvania, the new line offers the leading roller-leveler technology. It includes two Precision Levelers, both with Punch-N-Go leveler control technology. It was designed to meet Rolled Alloys’ specific product reuqirements, including processing of high-strength nickel alloys.

The line comprises a precision roll-feed system coupled with a high-speed shear that can cut both long and short blanks with high efficiency and extreme accuracy, ANDRITZ Herr-Voss Stamco claims. Additionally, the line allows for the application of paper or vinyl to the leveled material.
