Russel Metals has appointed Martin Juravsky as the new chief financial officer. He will replace Marion Britton, who announced her retirement from the company in 2019, but will remain with the company throughout 2020 to ensure a smooth transition.
Juravsky has been serving as senior vice president and CFO of Interfor Corp., with responsibility for their capital markets, corporate development and financial/public reporting functions.
"We are pleased to welcome Marty as our new CFO. With his broad range and extensive experience in finance, capital markets and mergers and acquisitions, he is a seasoned executive and is an ideal business partner, who is poised to succeed in our decentralized and entrepreneurial environment,” said John Reid, president and CEO of the Mississauga, Ontario-based service center company.
