MD Metals, a Bedford Park, Ill., metal service center, has been informed it qualifies as an essential business under Illinois Governor JB Pritzker’s stay-at-home executive order.

With that classification, MD Metals announced it will remain open through the coronavirus pandemic, shipping material daily from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“Our top priority is to keep our employees healthy. We are taking every precaution that is recommended by the CDC to do that. Our next priority is to our customers, making sure we can produce the vital material you need to keep your business operational,” says Aaron Dallek of MD Metals.

“We will do our best to continue to operate and deliver your orders in a timely manner however we ask that you be patient with us if there are delays,” says Dallek, inviting customers to email the company for more information.
