BLM Group USA has announced the availability of ArGo – a new scalable and customizable CAM programming software dedicated to 5-axis lasers. ArGo enables the complete management of tubes and three-dimensional metal profiles, such as deep-drawn, stamped, die-cast and hydroformed parts. ArGo provides automatic recognition of cut and bent parts, including all aspects related to machining, cutting rules, sections, axes and bends. Swift-Cut Adds Plasma Source Option
The ESAB Precision 130 high-precision plasma power source will now be available as an option for its Swift-Cut XP heavy-duty plasma table, which has also been enhanced. The system is shipped complete with the torch installed, fully wrapped for safe transportation and delivered ready for installation and training.
The Precision 130 can cut using all popular high-precision plasma/shielding gas combinations, including Air/Air, O2, N2, H35 and the H20 (Water Mist Secondary process) to optimize nonferrous cutting. It has a cutting output of 130 amps at 100 percent duty cycle. It cuts 3/4 inch-steel at 52 IPM and 1/2 inch-steel at 85 IPM. Diameter Pro cutting technology produces “bolt-ready” holes, even with a 1:1 metal thickness/diameter ratio.
The Precision 130 offers the advantage of a complete, compact system with one main enclosure and a very small gas controller. It measures 20 by 30 by 34 inches, so the power source can be positioned close to the table when space is limited.

FT-150 Optimized for Pipe and Tube Cutting

XL Laser Designed For Tubes

Flex Offers Multiple Cutting Heads
Flex Machine Tools, an American manufacturer and leading provider of machine tool solutions worldwide for metal fabrication operations and more, offers multiple cutting head solutions for its FlexJet waterjet line. OptiMAX Adds Cutting Head
The OptiMAX Dual Carriage boosts the productivity of the OptiMAX JetMachining Center by adding a second cutting head and an independent motorized Z-axis carriage. This enhancement increases capabilities and performance without extra floor space. The second carriage allows independent head movement, enabling closer alignment for part duplication or broader
spacing for single-head use.

AI Powers TRUMPF Cutting Assistant
TRUMPF’s Cutting Assistant is an application which uses artificial intelligence to improve the quality of laser-cut edges.
To use it, production employees take a picture of their component’s cut edge with a hand scanner.
The solution then assesses edge quality by evaluating for objective criteria such as burr formation. With this information, the Cutting Assistant’s optimization algorithm suggests improved parameters for the cutting process. The machine then cuts the sheet metal once more.
If the quality still does not meet expectations, the user has the option to repeat the process.

MetalMaster is Unitized Machine
The MetalMaster Evolution from Messer Cutting Systems is a unitized cutting machine and table. It can support the Bevel-R, a compact plasma bevel rotator.
