TW Metals has made two promotions to its leadership team. Bob Pullen has assumed the role of vice president of supply chain. He replaces Bill Schmid, who is retiring this summer after 47 years with the Exton, Pa.-based company.

Longtime TW Metals executive Bob Mraz has taken on a new role with parent company O’Neal Industries. On April 1, Mraz assumed the newly created role of director of strategic business development for the Birmingham, Ala.-based company.

TW Metals, Exton, Pa., has hired Amy Trojanowski has vice president and CFO. She will replace Jon Veurink, who is retiring after a seven-year career with TW Metals.

The aerospace industry is flying high with strength in all sectors.

TW Metals, a full-line specialty metals distributor, will break ground March 9 on an addition for a new material handling system at its Carol Stream, Ill., facility. The system is designed and will be built by Swiss-based warehouse logistics firm Fehr Inc.

Although the aerospace industry is recovering from the pandemic, it will take a while before the industry goes full throttle.

A promising year for the industrial economy was turned on its head by the biggest public health crisis the globe has seen in more than a century.

Of all the casualties of the novel coronavirus pandemic, commercial aerospace might be the hardest-hit sector of the industrial economy.

TW Metals, Exton, Pa., has appointed Bill Schmid as vice president, supply chain and product development among several leadership changes. With the change, TW Metals will divide its North Region into two regions – the Midwest Region and the Northeast Region.

President and COO Holman Head will retire from O’Neal Industries at the end of the month. Head has spent 40 years with the Birmingham, Ala.-based company.

TW Metals has completed its new 64,000-square-foot facility in Agawam, Mass. The new location is approximately two miles from the original facility, which was built in 1990.

GlobalTranz Enterprises LLC, a third-party logistics solutions provider offering technology, customer service and extensive multimodal carrier relationships, has added TW Metals as GlobalTranz Supply Chain Solutions’ newest customer. GlobalTranz will provide technology-enabled, strategic network optimization and managed transportation services.

TW Metals has hired Christine Thatcher as vice president of human resources. She has more than 20 years of experience in the field with national and international organizations.

Rob Belcher has been hired by Exton, Pa.-based TW Metals as the vice president of operations. He has more than 13 years of experience in distribution and manufacturing. Prior to that, he had 14 years of experience in military leadership.
